Everything But The Horse (EBTH) Rally Sunday, Feb 25
WHAT: A model horse rally. Wondering what a rally is? This is the perfect way to practice rally prep and learn rally procedures without needing to care for a “real” horse. Members compete in Horse Management, Dressage and Show Jumping with their “model horse." Before the rally, teams work together to build “shoe box” stalls and make “rally kits” from cut-out pictures or Model sized versions of equipment. WHAT: Quiz Rally is an unmounted rally, where teams of four pony clubbers of the same level compete in a format that tests knowledge in a wide variety of all things Pony Club! The different phases include: Classroom, Mega Room, Stations, Written Test, and Barn phase. The broad range of quizzing methods (oral, written, matching, fill in the blank, group tests) allows for many styles of learners to show their knowledge and have fun. D Jamboree September 25-28 Ulao Meadows, Grafton, WI
Jamboree is a 4 day camp organized and run by the Lake Shore Region Junior Board. The last day is a mock rally. Its focus is on introducing the younger and more inexperienced Pony Clubbers to the wonders of USPC. This is a sleepover camp for your pony. The members go home at night.
